TRAINING OF SISTERS AT THE ST. DOMINIC CONVENTION

The tree planting training at the convention is more than just planting trees, it’s about the knowledge and skills that go into planting a tree and ensuring its survival. In this training, sisters will experience all aspects of tree management such as site selection, nursery production, planting, and aftercare of trees.

The sisters will also learn to manage the area they have planted by maintaining the quality of soil, establishing grassed waterways around their trees to replicate natural landscapes, and recycling or composting gardening waste to ensure that everything goes back into a natural cycle.
