Market gardening is a diverse and interesting activity, it can be both a profession and a hobby.
We at RETAFO are professional Market gardeners who grow crops and vegetables for market purposes and for consumption as well. This helps to sustain us. The activity is done in the months suitable for every crop, we don’t have savings therefore we look for opportunities where we can have access to cheap land (mostly government-owned) and build a farm on our own.

Market gardening is a form of agriculture and horticulture that focuses on the growing of foodstuffs for sale at a local farmers’ market, roadside stand, garden shop, community-supported agriculture scheme, or directly to consumers. We make available vegetables and seedlings to the public at a reduced rate so as to increase their wellbeing and improve on the output, hence, reducing the rate of hunger and income is generated for local farmers too;
